City Info
The Charles Bridge is a historical bridge across the River Vlatava, built in the 14th century. Its construction started in 1357 under King Charles IV, and finished in the beginning of the 15th century. The bridge is a major tourist attraction in Prague, for its visual beauty, and historical importance. It was decorated by a continuous alley of 30 statues and statuaries, most of them baroque-style, around 1700.
